Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about StableFloe
General
What is StableFloe?
StableFloe is the AI layer that speeds up execution: matters, exhibits, documents, e-sign, client portal, and billing—while plugging into tools you already run (SECIB Neo, Kleos, Jarvis, Clio, and more). In one line: less admin drag, more time for legal judgment. AI assists; lawyers remain responsible for substance and outcomes.
Does StableFloe replace my current billing software?
No. StableFloe integrates with your existing billing stack (Jarvis, Clio, LegalProd, etc.). You keep your current tool and add automation on top. StableFloe syncs data and automates workflows.
Is StableFloe compatible with professional secrecy obligations?
Yes. StableFloe is designed for legal confidentiality: data is encrypted, stored securely, and not used to train third-party models. We align with GDPR and professional duties typical of the legal profession.
Pricing and subscription
How much does StableFloe cost?
StableFloe offers three plans: Starter at €69/month (2 users), Professional at €149/month (10 users), and Enterprise at €299/month (unlimited users). All plans include a 30-day free trial.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The listed price is what you pay: monthly or annual subscription only. No setup fees, no hidden charges, no long-term lock-in beyond your billing period.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime. Changes apply immediately; if you downgrade, you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
What happens after the 30-day trial?
Your paid subscription starts automatically unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged.
Features
How does client intake automation work?
You enter client details; StableFloe runs a workflow: simple duplicate check (name against your matters), matter creation, then handoff to your billing system when an integration is active (sync depth varies). Today, a full engagement letter plus DocuSign/Yousign on that intake-only path is still being extended; end-to-end e-signature mainly applies to documents you send from the document flow.
Can AI really generate professional legal documents?
Yes. With ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, document drafting uses Claude (Anthropic) for fast first drafts. The same key also powers workflows, matter summaries/Q&A, and semantic search. Without it, OpenAI (GPT-4o) is used. If the matter has indexed exhibits, you can optionally enrich generation at creation. You always review before send or signature.
Which integrations are available?
Connectors exist or are planned for SECIB Neo, Kleos, Jarvis Legal, LegalProd, Lawyer'it, Hub Avocat, Septeo, zLawyer, Clio, e-sign (DocuSign, Yousign, HelloSign, PandaDoc), calendars (Google, Outlook), and accounting (Sage, Cegid, QuickBooks—no Xero API yet). Each organization uses its own credentials. Live API behavior vs simulation depends on the provider and your setup.
How does the client portal work?
Clients access matters, documents, invoices, and appointments through a secure magic link—no password by default. You issue the link from the matter; it can expire (default 90 days). Rate limiting and permission checks apply.
How does e-signature work with webhooks?
DocuSign and Yousign have webhook routes to update status when you send from StableFloe; HelloSign and PandaDoc are part of the broader integration story. Email reminders at 3, 7, and 14 days apply to sends initiated in the app; a page lists pending signatures. Each organization configures its own credentials.
What is matter intelligence?
Per-matter capabilities: import exhibits (PDF or text), text extraction, structured summaries with source references, Q&A chat scoped to that corpus, and optional use of indexed context when generating documents. Outputs are drafts for lawyer review. These actions count toward your plan’s semantic search quota, like global document search.
What is semantic search?
Semantic search finds documents by meaning, not only exact keywords—for example, “contracts with termination clauses” can surface relevant files without identical wording. The same quota model applies to matter intelligence requests (summaries, matter Q&A).
How do automatic slot suggestions work?
StableFloe reads Google Calendar or Outlook availability and suggests conflict-free slots when you schedule. You can set preferred hours and default duration.
Does StableFloe support international organizations?
Yes. Multi-office setups can use per-office timezone, language, and locale. Alerts follow the active office timezone. Knowledge bases can be filtered by office language.
Is StableFloe e-invoicing compliant?
Yes. StableFloe supports France e-invoicing flows by integrating with Chorus Pro and certified partners so invoices can be transmitted in line with applicable rules.
